Our Courses Breakaway Techniques Training (sector specific) A bespoke package training personnel in effective, pressure tested Breakaway Techniques for their individual sector setting. This training will allow avoidance & disengagement from aggressive grabs, holds & strikes allowing individuals to protect themselves in an appropriate, safe & professional manner. More.... Control & Restraint (sector specific) A bespoke training package prepared and presented for personnel in all sectors were full C&R techniques are required. This package covers a full hierarchy of pressure tested techniques that are appropriate to the individual sector setting, this can include Safe Holding techniques as required, allowing confident & professional resolution of violent situations. More.... Conflict Resolution Training Course The bespoke Conflict Resolution Training package is designed for personnel who deal with aggression & violence at all levels, in all sectors. It aims to give the skills to identify the reasons for aggression and use the appropriate de-escalation techniques to halt the escalation at the first opportunity in any setting. More.... Safe Holding (Restraint) Techniques The bespoke SH package is aimed at sectors who have personnel in environments where restraint techniques are required for the safety of all parties, but the use of full C&R techniques are not required either for practical or moral reasons. More.... Lone Worker The bespoke Lone Worker package is prepared & presented to answer individual sector & environmental requirements. It can be presented to include all your current H&S protocols or to include best practice protocols as required. Can include any of the physical intervention package. More.... Self Protection The Self Protection (Self Defence) package can be presented for any group whether the threat is work related or a general threat. The techniques instructed on cover both the theory and practical skills of self-protection. Can cover any attack situation on the street, in the home, in a vehicle or any other situation. Not to be confused with Breakaway. Can be designed for UK or worldwide, & be generic or answer specific issues. More.... Education establishment search training & Weapon Awareness This package has been prepared for education staff with responsibility for carrying out scanning & searching for weapons & other banned items. It will cover the Education & Inspections Act 2006, the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 (sections 45 & 46 respectively, section 46 inserting a new section 85B to the Further & Higher Education Act 1992) & the Education Act 2011. It will cover legalities of scanning & searching & the practical use of metal detectors & searching. More.... Handcuff Training (metal cuffs/Plastic cuffs as required) This package is designed for personnel who have completed one of the restraint training packages (or can be added to a restraint package) and are employed in an environment where the use of mechanical restraints is required. This package will cover all aspects of using handcuffs from the legal protocols to the practical operational use, ending with a confident, professional operator. More.... Limb Restraints (Velcro Straps / Soft Cuffs)-(sector specific) This package is designed for personnel who may need to use Velcro restraints when dealing with violent people for the safety of all parties. This package can be a stand-alone package or added to any of the restraint packages including the handcuffing package. It will cover the legal protocols and the practical use of the appropriate restraints. More....
